Program Overview
Launch your international culinary career with a USD 1,000 first-semester scholarship and scholarships of up to 80% from the second semester. You also receive 300 hours of free Korean-language classes, while university housing is only USD 850 for six months. This is a regional-visa major. This four-year English-track bachelor's begins with common subjects in the School of Undeclared Major. From the second year, you move into Culinary and Food Service Management and build the practical, creative, and management skills needed for today's global food-service industry.
Your training covers practical cookery, restaurant-franchise management, project-based learning, internships, field practice, global food culture, and foreign-language education. Courses include Korean Foods Management, Western Cooking Practice Management, Bakery and Pastry Management, Beverage Management and Cost Control, Cooking Science and Food Service Entrepreneurship, Chinese and Japanese Cuisine Management, AI-Based Food Service Business Management, AI Service Marketing, and Food Service Research Methodology.
Graduates can pursue careers as professional chefs, restaurant managers, bakery and pastry specialists, food stylists, restaurant entrepreneurs, franchise-management specialists, culinary educators, food marketers, beverage and wine specialists, and global food-service professionals.
Studying in South Korea gives you practical culinary experience alongside Korean language and cultural learning. The September intake generally expects around 70% final marks and completion of secondary school, with IELTS 6.0 guidance for applicants from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, India, and other countries.
